Mother Dear, I love you so!

Since my mother is in Hawaii this mothers day and I am heading out to Tonga, I just wanted to write my mother a little somethin, somethin. (;
"All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his. I love my mothers as the trees love water and sunshine - she helps me grow, prosper, and reach great heights."

 -unknown

Sola LaVona Olive Fau'olo is her name and being a great mother is her game. Everyone that knows my mom will tell you shes very straight forward (which i have learned to appreciate. even if sometimes it hurt lol) shes very spiritual, loved to dance, loves her children but her grandchildren more, she loves to serve and most of all she loves the Lord. Those are her best attributes and why it makes her, her. Besides her being the best cook (no really she is, she will battle your mom any day. hahaha) best dance teacher, and best care giver, she remains so humble. If there is anything that I love most about my mom is that no matter what someone paid her, or what people say about her she will always do what she thinks the Lord would do. She is such a God fearing person and i love it. She has taught me to be strong for me, to never let anything stop me from what i want to do in life and most importantly that if i pray and fast always my life will be easier, not perfect, but easier.

Mom,
Happy Mothers Day! I know I havent been the easiest child to raise but i wanted to thank you for always being patient with teaching me, guiding me, feeding me, driving me places, traveling with me, and espcially loving me for who i am. The truth is that there will never be enough words to express my gratitude and love i have for you, but i will try the best I can to express it with the few words I do know. Mom youve made me who I am today. We may not be as close as we'd wish but i know that you will always be my TRUE best friend. I know that even if i dont want to hear it, you will only be honest with me. lol I love you to eternity and back. My life is dedicated to making a name for US mom. (oh and dad lol) but everything youve taught me in life is why i am where i am right now. Thank you for pushing me to be a better person everyday.... I love you more then you will ever know. see you when i get back from tonga. Then we can chat in tongan cause i should be pro by then. hahaha!

Ofa Atu mom. Happy Mothers day....oh and ps...sorry for not doing your laundry. I got a bit busy before i left. ;) Til next time... <3
-Love, Zola Tise Frankie Fau'olo. (your favorite daughter. dont worry im sure lusi and leta know that. hahaha!)

PARTY IN THE 801

Hate. Disagreement. Tears. Cooking 24 hours. Non stop eating. No sleep. Last minute errands. Your eyes are hanging, your irritation level just gets higher and higher (or maybe that was just me haha) and then you dont have a dress the day BEFORE the wedding?! WOW.! But then you see smiles that were from ear to ear, hear laughter that was louder then the music, feel love stronger then anything, and then you hear the words "I love this girl very, very, very much." and it just made it all worth while.

Before I start Id like to set a couple things straight. Everyone that knows my family knows that we have a mother who is one the spiritual, strongest, straight forward, faithful, hardest worker, lady who would never tell you a lie, and who loves her FAMILY (near and far) with all her heart. And if you knew my mother, you would know the man who supports her in everything, my father. Though he may come off as soft spoken, a comedian, and entertainer to everyone..hes been a great father in being an example of a hard worker, never giving up, standing for whats right, and very spiritual. These two people have raised all my siblings and I to fear God. God is always first and then family. Nothing was more important and these two things were never less. No one ever would want to go against there parents because no one likes to see their parents hurt by their actions, but what are the parents to do when a child falls? They pick their child up because that is what our Heavenly Father has taught ALL of us to do. Like the story of the Prodigal Son. The only thing you can do is love them more then ever. Yes, maybe they made some mistakes that wont make you proud but your unconditional love will help them find the narrow again. None of us are perfect. No one is, except our Savior. So anyone judging my family or my sister because of her baby girl growing inside of her, can go tell someone who gives a dang. LoL. Haters you can kill yo self! hahaha nbfr. No one is allowed to judge me or my family unless your God. (PS...if you dont know what im talkin about then disregard this LOL)

So back to the party! haha!Whatever feelings or things that went on before this day were all pushed aside because of our love for these two. No one dared or even wanted to do anything to ruin this special day.  It was a BEAUTIFUL day. Family started arriving on wednesday and the cooking and decorating went up on thursday! Thursday night i also realized that i didnt have a dress yet! WHAT KIND OF MAID OF HONOR DOESNT HAVE A DRESS TIL THE DAY OF? This one right here! haha! I must say... i was kind of a sucky maid of honor 'cause i didnt really do anything but i couldnt have been more happy to be right next to my big sister on here BIG DAY! So while i was off with my mother trying to find a dress in the morning leta set off to do her hair with Sadie, her hair stylist. It was beautiful! Thank you sadie. Then Leta did some of her makeup herself and then aunty Nia  finished it up. Thank You aunty nia for hookin us all up! Veronica hooked all of us up with our hair. homegirl made my hair look tight! haha (if i must say so myself! lol) Then the wedding began. There were six girls, six boys in the line. All the girls were her family. and all the boys were his. She wanted everyone is bold spring colors except me, i was in black. (dont ask, she saw it on pinterest. haha) There was a dessert bar that included an ice cream machine that Letas BFF Kerri-Ann hooked up! There was a lot of food from chop suey, rice, chinese chicken salad, puaka (PIG) and everything else. lol The decorations were awesome! Thanks to Lusi, the KKK sister and rosie! They always do an awesome job and that just set the mood! Melia (our sister from Pittsburgh) performed with Ipo and I to do a tahitian (which was horrible but it was sooo funny and it was just family so who really cares?! LOL) and then our relief society from our YSA ward presented leis and a gift from our ward and then two girls and i performed Kanaka Wai Wai, a hula, for the couple. I could go on and on and on about what happened, who was there and everything else but i think the couple summed it up in their closing remarks when they expressed how much they loved each other. As long as they do then thats all that matters. :) Though they have things to work on, so do the rest of us. Im so excited for my sister and the baby coming and my new brother inlaw "WILLIAM" haha. CONGRATS MR AND MRS ASIATA. <3

A Sweet Thang! :)

She may have been quiet, but like they say, those are the ones you need to watch for! hahaha! kidding!! After she moved to Utah from Hawaii at a very young age we were inseparable! We spent our days with our mothers and little brothers shopping at ALL the DI stores possible, eating at CHUCK-O-RAMA, and playing at Nickel Arcade. If we werent doing that, then we were chillin at one of our houses (most likely hers) watching disney channel or just talking and LAUGHING ALL DAY LONG! (most likely about her guy friends, or our sisters and brothers. haha) We could just sit in the room doing nothing and have the best time together...we were BEST FRIENDS. Wherever she went, I went. Wherever i was, she was right beside me.

We werent innocent, well i was haha, jokes! But we sure did act like it and did make the best of our times. Sometimes while our mothers would go into the stores, sweets would ask, "Do you wanna swear?" and of course, me being an idiot child, said "YEAH!" We would sit in the cars cussing up a storm! hahahaha!! We always had our good times, but we also had our bad times. We went through a lot together. Any little thing that had happened to her and her many boyfriends or in our lives she told me, even if i didnt want to know! hahaha! ;) and than id give her my motherly advice. LoL. no im not trying to make myself sound like an angel because surely that is not true, but thats mostly how it went. lol ;) I remember one night we were having a heart to heart talk and she had told me something that made me upset, and i told her off. (Just like our moms would do! haha!!) and then i quickly realized that whatever had happened, happened so i just sat there holding her hands and we cried and then laughed more than anything at my lecture i gave her. (FOBBING out and ALL haha!)

Although it sucked growing up and growing without being so close to my sister, we always found each other just to tell each other "i love you sis!" Whether i was in Maine or china or whatever, we never lost each other. Though i didnt see her face, she has always been someone i carried in my heart, right along with the rest of my sisters Lusi, Leta, and Tangi and family.

Time continues to move forward and we all continue to  grow older, more mature (most the time lol), and on to bigger and better things of course together! When I had been told she was planning on getting married i was so excited for her...but it didnt hit me until last night as i sat in the back of the room watching my sister take her first dance with her husband, fili. My eyes began to water as my mind replayed the little chinky eyed, skinny, dark girl i played outside with, rode scooters and bikes with, had snowball fights with, snuck to seven eleven while momma tangi was sleeping with, traveled with, bullied our brothers with, danced with, cried with, and loved. All our memories were so clear as they just happened, but i then realized that this is only the beginning of our next chapter except that now we'll be adding husbands and kids along with us! (well not me for a while but shes always been the one who was a step ahead of me so she can show me some shortcuts in everything! lol) :)  Im looking
forward to this part. ;)

To my sister Elisa Leslie Veisinia Mataele Atiga Vakapuna,

Hay howz it?! haha. I just want to let you know that i love you. i know i didnt always express that to you but please know that i do love you. Thank you for the memories we have created in the past. (like teaching me how to shave my legs! hahaha! that was hilarious!) i look forward to seeing you and your little family grow. Im proud of who youve become. Yeah, you dont always make the best decisions, but who does? ;) I pray that you and fili will continue to grow closer and love each other more than life itself, but i especially pray that you both continue to stay close to our Heavenly Father. I know i always preach to you, and maybe thats why we dont chill as much anymore LOL, but as a sister to you, i would never lie to you. (cause thats what friends do. hahaha! and im not your friend haha just jokes..) but seriously, i wouldnt. You know that...remember when i told you your hair looked like bob marleys dreads?! bwahahah. okay i was just lying THAT time but never again! ;) anywhoo always hold on to that testimony i know you have. You have a strong will so use it to the best you can! Like i always tell you, im here if you need anything. I might i not have the money, or i might not be one to party hard, but what i do have is love. :) May the good Lord continue to bless you in life with many more blessings to come! Love you to the moon and back!

-Tise. :)
